Why the need for a Gag order? Because one party refuses to sign a nondisclosure agreement. Does it make it look bad for Johnny to be the one asking for it? On the surface yes, it does. It can come across as though there is something he wants hidden. More than likely there is, but it probably isn’t what most people will think.
Possible reasons for a Gag order in this case could be, and this is my opinion only, NOT FACT from, first hand, inside knowledge– 1. financial documents. Nobody needs to know how much money Johnny Depp has in any bank account. It is completely irrelevant to most people’s daily lives. Placing that information out there in the public sphere could only lead to more problems in his daily life, his children’s lives, and his family’s lives. Bad people exist in this world, unfortunately, and they can and do use those types of things to do nefarious deeds. Case in Point: Mexico. After the economy collapsed in the 90’s, Mexico lost their middle class. You were either wealthy or poor. Those that are/were wealthy had to have private security for their families, and drive to work/school in armored cars due to the threats against their personal safety. People were abducted, held for ransom, and then killed when they did or didn’t get the money the abductors wanted.
2. Personal medical information. How would that even come up? Because of either financial documents OR witnesses seeing him get prescriptions or take medication. Nobody needs to know if he takes testosterone, insulin, vitamin b-12 injections. Not anybody’s business. Else HIPPA never would have been enacted. Thank you Ted Kennedy……(Not a fan of HIPPA, but it serves its purpose from time to time) How would that correlate to witness statements? Because whomever gets on that stand to testify will be questioned by attorneys. And then cross examined. I can hear it now, the question someone gets asked. “Have you ever seen Johnny Depp take drugs?” The witness says yes. No more questions. The headlines at Daily Mail and Radar Online just read “JOHNNY DEPP TAKES DRUGS IN FRONT OF CHILDREN” but what they fail to report or, what hasn’t been asked yet, because cross examination isn’t until the next morning, is that it was a legal prescriptive type of drug, as seen referenced above. Not everyone clicks on the link to read the whole story.
Why he asked for a Gag order in this case is very simple to figure out. It doesn’t have a damn thing to do with domestic violence, drug use, infidelity, or any of the other SHIT that Amber Heard has spewed out her ass, like copious amounts of vile diarrhea, that is already in the media. There is no need for a gag order on that, if there were any truth to ANY of those damning ALLEGATIONS Johnny would have been arrested already, any “other women” would have been paid handsomely to talk by Turd’s camp, and yet none of those things have happened. Because they don’t hold water, like a boat with a large hole in the bottom, her accusations against Johnny Depp have sank faster than the Titanic. But worrying about someone saying something seemingly innocent but the MEDIA spinning it whichever way they want to, or not reporting ALL the facts about one statement, well that’s just smart.
Wanting his tax returns from before they were married? Bitch please, don’t even play. She wasn’t even DIVORCED FROM TASYA YET, so wtf????? Getting tax returns from random celebrities in Hollywood to prove that she needs more money? Dear God, are there attorney’s that are actually stupid enough to file for those records because they have a mentally unstable client that is a chronic liar and idiot? Well, since her attorney’s asked for them, I guess there are attorney’s that are that dumb. I shake my head because of the idiocy of it all. Why not just say she wants to divorce him but wait on a monetary settlement for 5 years from now and use those tax returns too. Or maybe just put down a guesstimate of his future earnings based on whatever dream she had when she was 13? It’s just stupid and I don’t believe a judge in his/her right mind would ever go for it, considering her lack of proof showing interrelation between her and those other parties and other years. I didn’t think her own financials went back that far, and she hasn’t pulled Tasya’s tax returns either, so…….

On the surface it does make him look as though he is trying to hide something. However Depp has a history of being a private person. He live most of his life as a gossip column dream come true. Heard is the opposite, she is a fame whore, she doesn’t want to keep quiet about anything ever.
I hope the judge grants the request. Although part of me wants to hear the truth, I can do without the intimate details of another couples vapid marriage. Bottom line, especially for people that can afford it and have people telling them how to think, act and dress in public, you have little excuse for staying in the marriage.

One thing that really caught my eye was wanting privacy for “experts?” I wonder if she sought “counseling” so she could use the person as an expert witness. Gag orders are common practice among the rich and famous. True. Protects them from book deals, gossip, exaggerated tales that can ruin their careers. Most high profile divorces have them.

Dissolution is when there is a “no fault” and both parties agree and are satisfied with each other’s terms. A dissolution doesn’t go to court per say until it is over, then divorce is granted. Just the term divorce means, court appearances, hashing out in court. Both terms lead to the same end , but one is a little more drawn out.

I was wondering the same thing…if JD would call her family to the stand to show a lifelong pattern of lying. What year did Scamber drop out of school? Did she move to NY or LA? Did you pay her tuition or was she a “scholarship girl” as she said in one interview. Did she forge your signatures? What about her license being revoked? And her friend dying? And on, and on, and on. That alone could take an entire day.

This is Amber’s attempt at at a scorched earth policy. Since no one believes her DV story, she’s exacting revenge on Johnny and his family, friends, etc.
I still maintain all this nonsense is a stall tactic. Team Wasser might have damaging info about Amber or presented a settlement, which after reasonable deductions, showed that she was entitled to $10.23 a month. Her lawyers might be throwing out all kinds of demands so they can regroup.
I think this may be one of my favorite Jambernews posts; it has me screaming YES to all that’s written! I actually hope a Judge will look at all of these ridiculous requests; that show that all of it is with the hopes of a huge monetary outcome, and just dismisses all of the ‘Extras’. The DV accusation; any extra requests on top of the minimal that AH is (I guess) entitled to, let her whole smear campaign fall apart!

It looks to me like she is stalling on a confidentiality agreement either to hold out for more money/assets, or she wants a financial deal and also to sell her story. She seems hellbent on destroying him and I think it is because not only is she inherently evil and mentally disturbed, but she is getting egged on by her group of friends. Basically, if Turd can get a big settlement, she will be able to financially maintain her shitty group of friends.

Okay, I’ve been reading this blog, for some time now. i believe Andy’s thoughts and the majority of the comments here are spot on. Amber does not behave like a domestic violence victim. She behaves like a woman scorned. Very early on, in her claim of DV, Amber claimed she hadn’t seen Johnny, in almost a month, before the night, the alleged abuse took place. Why is that? I would not be surprised, if Johnny had already left her. He clearly wasn’t living with her, at the time. Amber admits to that. She claims she called him about his mother and he later showed up drunk. It was the perfect time, for this narcissistic woman, to strike and put her plan, in action. She attacked while he was weak and vulnerable. She now won’t agree to a confidentiality agreement. Why? Well, because she loses her power and her hold over him. Therefore, her control is gone and she can no longer manipulate the situation. I do think the judge will grant Johnny his wish, to keep the divorce agreement private. Let’s hope that order is granted soon, so we don’t have to hear any more about this vile woman.
