TMZ states “according to law enforcement sources and documents Amber and Tasya Van Ree got into an argument on September 14, 2009 at SEATAC airport. Amber allegedly grabbed and struck Tasya in the arm, which upset Tasya and triggered the arrest.
Amber was arrested and booked for MISD Domestic Violence. Her mug shot was taken and she appeared in court the following day.” There is audio of the court hearing at the link.
Now, on the audio, you can hear the judge talk about how Amber VAN REE was appearing, IN CUSTODY. Meaning, she got to spend the night in the lovely King County Jail. I’m sure it was just to her liking, cold, hard, and full of women. Gay for the Stay Amber dear? Granted, less than 24 hours, not really that long of a stay, but what happens in jail, stays in jail, right? But what happens in the courtroom, well, gets blasted on TMZ.
So now we have a back story to Amber’s violent temper. She struck Tasya, she was arrested for beating her wife, and she has inside knowledge of how the system works regarding domestic violence. That, my friends, shows intent. Starting in 2009. (September 2009, after The Rum Diary was filmed.)
September 13, 2009 Amber and obviously Tasya were at the Toronto International Film Festival for The Jonses screening. Amber hours before being arrested in Washington state.
