Marrying for Money

1. SMART WOMEN DON’T HAVE TO
2. IT MIGHT NOT LAST
3. YOU’LL STILL FIGHT ABOUT MONEY
4. IT WILL TRAP YOU
5. IT WILL NOT SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS
6. IT WILL NOT BUY YOU HAPPINESS

WHAT WE WITNESS EVERYDAY

The internet if full of articles both for and against marrying for money. The pros and cons. Many articles from women who admit they married for money. HOW is a man suppose to trust ANY woman if they have a fortune? It’s sick and sad to see how we’ve spiraled down to such shallowness. Nothing is sacred anymore. One of the biggest problems we face on this planet is lack of love and sincerity. We have been taught for decades, to watch out for number 1. Although it’s true, we do need to take care of ourselves, but we have lost the short and long term ability to see things that are important.  Like, the hearts of others around us. Even strangers.

Lately there’s been an explosion of internet videos that have gone viral of everyday people treating the homeless like pieces of shit, automatically assuming they just don’t want to work. No one has any idea of that person’s circumstances. Not every person is lazy. Life/shit happens.

The videos show this treatment, and usually end with a good person, remembering it’s about paying it forward, remembers love, and compassion of helping the less fortunate person. Some of the videos show the homeless person giving up the few dollars they have to help another in need.

We, the world are fueled by greed, selfishness, and lack of empathy. There are those that scheme, and plot, and take take take. Never once glancing to their side to see someone desperately needing help.

I have a friend who was dating a man with a ton of cash, millions. She got into a tight spot due to her health. She lost her home, and never once did she take money from her fiance. Some call that stupid, pride, etc, but she got herself out of the situation on her own. Was it more difficult? Sure it was. She used her own money to live in a hotel, put her belongings in storage, food, etc. Maybe it was pride, or maybe she didn’t feel ENTITLED to it.

My point is this: Things today are taken for granted. We expect too much, and most of the time give nothing back. Life is to live. To live happy. Money won’t bring that. It may bring you comforts you wouldn’t have without it, but it will never give, or bring you peace.

Be good to others. Even strangers. Leave this earth knowing your compassion, and giving affected someone else in a way they felt happier, and they realized not everyone, and everything in this world are heartless. It’s not about money. It’s about time, compassion, and love.

Thank you. I didn’t know how much I needed to hear something like this. People like Amber are constantly called clever and smart… today. They are not called out for what they really are, just selfish bullies. They walk all over anyone who stands in their way of getting what they want. Honest and caring people get trampled by people like her. Where are we as a society, as a culture?

Totally agree with you 110%. It seems the more lazy, selfish and dishonest some people are the more they get ahead, while other hard working honest people get bullied and used.
I grew up to respect and be kind to others. Intergrity, hard work and honesty was what was going to get you ahead.

    Bravo!

And no matter how much the ugly people seem to get ahead, I try to remain a firm believer that in the end, kindness and honesty win.

Beautifully said. It always seems the scum of the earth are the ones who are winning but when all is said and done they will never find peace and happiness. Goodness and kindness will always prevail in the end.

Money can’t buy happiness……in the end, rich or poor all end up the same…..death is a great equalizer
