Channing is already a challenge for Kimmel as he doesn’t want to travel. The show we are targeting has Jonny Depp booked which we think is a big idea. We are trying to get agreement on a Skype session with Channing.
I need some yes momentum and don’t need them refusing Kimmel too.

> Depp had a connection to the show don’t we need to be clever about this I don’t we can just say we need a famous person to make fun of.

Did Jeff Blake connect with you on Friday? Dick Cook gave him this project for consideration. Paul Haggis wrote the script with his daughter and is attached to direct. There is a Johnny Depp conversation but no firm attachment. Budget approx $70M. Dick will bring co-financing. Elizabeth mentioned this came in 5 or 6 years ago. I have a few execs reading this weekend. Just wanted to make sure you had it too and knew what it was. I’m going to read now and will let you know.

Hey man are you ok with me passing on Black Mass as a domestic acquisition? Came to me through Zimmer and it’s still Depp and Barry Levinsons been replaced by Scott Cooper, whom I love (loved out of the furnace), but this feels tired and they’d still want 10 to 13 for domestic. It’s Italian mob vs FBI and whitey bulger. Scripts ok but nothing new here.

In just my brief chat with koepp I came away believing if you don’t like the deal we’d make for spidey in cap 3 we can totally plot out a new trilogy of our own with people excited to take it on. Even koepp started to twinkle behind the eyes as he spoke.
And maybe Drew nails it and we build out from his script. Don’t feel backed into a corner because of the past. What’s past is prologue.
But man I want whatever koepp is going to plan for a new film series. He looked like a guy about to rediscover the joys of just writing. Said Depp was late every fucking day on their movie

Negative WOM severely harmed Transcendence’s box office performance, even though it had over 28% total number of screens. DMG brought Johnny Depp to China but it generated over 2.6 million negative posts on the Chinese Twitter #DMGGetOutOfShowbiz#. This was caused by the chaotic media schedule of the Beijing tour in April, when media interviews and fan events were cancelled last minute and without explanation. “This is the biggest joke on April Fool’s Day! We strongly condemn DMG,” among other similar posts. A few positive comments surrounded the fact that the film has been converted to 3D for China’s release.

22 Jump Street
Big fans of the original and our biggest comedy at £10.2m this was one looked forward to with a lot to live up to. So pleased to say it did just that with all the laugh out loud moments of the first and with the same convincing, warm relationship between the two leads. A real strength for this market was the underlying sophistication in the humour – the knowing comedy directed against the genre alongside the straightforward pure physical and spoken gags. Brilliantly irreverent again the lack of the big cameo could have been a shortfall but assume that the two as written are for real and more than make up for the Depp one.
A great date this time and no introduction to the franchise is necessary with the last not only opening big but holding very well indeed. There will be a real anticipation for this second movie.
Starting numbers, with some real upside potential, as follows:

BO          £12m
Rental   £4.25m
Spend   £2.5m
Scr          500

Well where do I start with this? We actually liked it but with a number of reservations. The first half is by far the better of the two with the second becoming uneven and strangely comedic and the finale feeling very rushed. Michael Parks was terrific and some of his speeches genuinely creepy and a real acting masterclass. The premise although outrageous was pretty convincing and surprisingly moving in parts. The problem of course is it does not get to where it wants to be and remains a difficult sell. If he really wanted to see someone look like a walrus he only had to give Haley Joel Osment a few more trips to the diner and it would have saved them all a lot of trouble. Johnny Depp was amusing but overplayed.Whatever is decided there is no way this can get a slot in 2014 and by waiting to 2015 we can at least sit out the US result. At this point we can only really see it as a 100 screen qualifier, which is a bit of a shame. RegardsPeter

No problem. Some you can find, but there’s a few you can’t. Enjoy.

    wow, insightful.
“Said Depp was late every fucking day on their movie” I’ve heard that said a lot about him, apparently he’s just not very punctual which can in fact, cause a production money.

“This was caused by the chaotic media schedule of the Beijing tour in April, when media interviews and fan events were cancelled last minute and without explanation. “This is the biggest joke on April Fool’s Day! We strongly condemn DMG,”

Well what can you do when your star is attacked by a Chupacabra??? Or maybe he was just drunk off his ass or high as a kite! Or um, are we still supposed to believe he “had a cold.”

Johnny’s career and life have become like a bad car crash that everyone is just watching to see how bad the damage is!

And boy is he and the Succubus Queen really delivering the goods!

JD did drink a lot in China, but he was still in a good condition back to then, the cancellation had nothing to do with him because he was not informed of that before. The real disaster was the premier for Mortdecai worldwide, ypu can see how damaged and wasted he was, he even lost his body shape, totoally unkempt, disoriented, speaking blurred…..

Oh I thought that’s what they were referring to. He DID miss some promo event in some country and gave his BS story about Chupa. Figured it was that one.

I’m sorry, I don’t care who the hell you are …being constantly late is just being an asshole. It very disrespectful to everyone involved. He should remember you earn respect…..I think some of his mentors would be disappointed in him.

So I follow the Buzzfeed Oz page on Facebook and they just posted about Amber’s comments and the comments on the post are GOLD. Nobody’s taking the turd’s side on this one.

I recommend checking it out. So much hatred (or indifference!) for this dumb bint.

    • Bullshit June 22, 2015 at 5:03 am #

You know you’ve screwed up when people would rather take the side of an (already disliked) politician than yours. There are worth posting:

“I’d never even heard her until all this happened.”

“Who are you, may I ask? Other than Johnny’s current wife?”

“Our average visitor national mean IQ spiked as she departed”

      ” Says whatsherface Johnny Depp’s future ex-wife”

“I’m angry that I wasn’t given special privileges for being a celebrity.”

I actually went through all of the comments to see if there is a single one that says anything remotely positive about her, and not one single comment. Also, neither of them have given a single apology, or anything even remotely apologetic, just snarky, passive aggressive comments at the people and laws meant to keep the dogs, and all other animals actually, of Australia healthy and rabies-free.

I remember when Johnny made the comment about America, comparing it to a dumb puppy. He did get a backlash back then too, but at least he had the courtesy and cared enough back then to give an explanation and apologise to anyone he might have insulted who maybe didn’t deserve to be insulted by his comment. At least back then he didn’t see himself as some kind of superhuman who can’t possibly be understood by our under-developed brains. I don’t expect anything from whatsherface, but I’m more mad at him about this whole thing because he used to know better.

I don’t know how Depp is dealing with this or how he can stay silent. Turdy is shitting all over an entire country and he’s in that country still doing (maybe being forced) meet and greets with the people of that country. It’s making him look like the biggest hypocrite that ever lived. Those people waiting for him need to start telling him how wrong he is to have jeopardized their country as he knowingly did, they need to stop being so fucking star struck. He doesn’t deserve it, he’s human and he should be following the laws. Depp always saw himself as a bit of a criminal, but not to the point at which he would hurt innocent people. Doggy-gate is a big deal and TURDY needs to take responsibility, after all she admitted that the dogs are HER BABIES. She obviously has more affection for those dogs than she does Depp, as she gushes about the dogs, but can’t say anything about her “husband” in a steady, honest manner. But of course he will only make cheeky remarks that are being seen as amusing since to say anything more or to apologize would be admitting guilt. The ONLY thing he can do, IMO is distance himself from the guilty party and let her take the fall, but I don’t think he will do that.

The comments don’t open for me, on every other subject they posted about i have no trouble reading, but on this they won’t open.

Does this mean Heard won’t be going to the Oz premier and since she speaks for her husband will Johnny send in a look a like? If she doesn’t keep her mouth shut, when POTC finally premiers they will be known as Mr. and Mrs. DeppWho.

    • Debie June 22, 2015 at 9:14 am #

if it is, it would be epic. And it will not be well received.

Finally all they witness the arrogance of Chupa. I love the Daily Mail comments

I also find it funny that Turdy is calling Barnaby Joyce a fame seeker. That’s the surest case of the pot calling the kettle black. Takes one to know there, A Turdy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I do think the Australian officials are jumping on this a little more than what they should- yes you need to follow the guidelines and laws a country has, but I don’t think it should be as publicized as it has….. They didn’t just let the dogs run all over the countryside. They kept them out up… I’m sure these (purebred yorkies kept by people of adequate means) has their tags and shots are up to date…… And too their situation is not perfect…. Dingos are Not naturally wild native dogs- they originated from domestic dogs that formed a wild pack and are affecting the native wildlife along with foxes that aren’t native either… Just about all their snakes and spiders are highly venomous- the funnel web spider , worst in the world….

I can probably see why Johnny smirks a little- I think it’s been taken out of proportion-
But I really don’t know where Amber gets off talking much about it- she’s almost nonexistent to the problem- even though she intentionally started it….. That’s the the only thing she has any right talking about…. It would benefit her ten times more to tell the truth about who she is than trying to be something she’s not…. His wife, girlfriend, friend….. She’s an overdramatized acquaintance that has made some mistakes.

Not trying to disrespect Australia or their ways, I just think it’s a little over dramatized and told why I thought that.

One’s means do not make one’s pets disease or infestation free. They can get something taking a walk, in a store, at the groomer… These two ‘special people’ set a horrible example. When one is a guest in someone’s home, country… one must follow the host’s rules regardless how one feels about them. If you don’t like the rules, go somewhere else where you can abide by their rules. Exceptions cannot be made without substantial risk in this case.

    • sad for jd June 22, 2015 at 3:59 pm #

Joyce’s choice of words were unfortunate and unprofessional. ..he could of chose more appropriate language. IMO, I think the Australian officials had contacted Depp’s team to discuss the situation and they were blocked. The minister got involved along with the media and we have this out of control circus. Amber, Johnny and the rest of the people on that flight lied….period.
Anyone who has travelled to another country has to complete a customs form and you have to declare what you have brought into the country. ….it doesn’t matter what currently exists in that country but what you are bringing into THEIR country… don’t like it then don’t go there, if you get caught lying than take the punishment and shut the fuck up…
Amber loves this…she can talk about her precious puppies and show that she’s above it all…as johnny taking the hit for this one.
Now that she has declared that her precious travels everywhere with her…I hope she’s on a hit list and she’s seriously searched in every fucking country she travels to….sorry but she and her purse rats can stay in LA.

      • phonytexanbitch June 22, 2015 at 4:15 pm #

I hope they jail her and fine Depp, because she’s the stupid fuckhead. By talking about this the way she is it shows that she was the main culprit and that the dogs are HERS. The Australian government now has public admission of it. At the very least her passport will possibly be flagged as a bio terrorist risk. And it may be hard for her to get a visa to work in any other country. Same thing could happen to Depp too.

  10. Minnie1 June 22, 2015 at 4:34 pm #

Again, she knew that she couldn’t take the purse rats to London. If you love your pets, you make a point of getting info about taking
    them abroad.

    • Minnie1 June 22, 2015 at 4:40 pm #

Oh,I forgot…she was too busy swanning around NY and getting drunk to concern herself with her pets’ welfare.
