Amber Heard,Ayn Rand, Lone Ranger,Racism

23 Jun

After spending some time reading at various internet sites (Johnny Depp and Amber Heard fan sites/forums) I found something interesting. Amber Heard mentioned that she was a huge Ayn Rand fan. Here is a quote from Amber Heard about her obsession with Ayn Rand’s ideals. For those of you who don’t know who Ayn Rand was. Please google search her. It’s …..interesting.

After her best friend’s death, Heard met her first serious boyfriend, who introduced her to the writings of Russian-born atheist Ayn Rand. “I’ve read all of her books,” says Heard, who was raised Catholic. “Ever since then, I have been obsessed with her ideals. All I’ve ever needed is myself.”   Source:

What I’m very pissed about would be Ayn Rand’s racism. How does this have to do with Amber Heard or The Lone Ranger? A lot. Amber Heard said she was obsessed with Ayn’s ideals. THIS is what Ayn Rand said about Native Americans. Yes Retweet, and pass this around. THIS is the woman that Amber Heard admires. Here’s the excerpt. If you can not read this you can take the link below it.

My god is she only wearing Native American jewelry to impress Johnny? Who admires a person like Rand who was racist? Forget the other things Rand believes in ” Objectivism” – she was a racist. “Ain’t no body got time for that.” Period.

Remember the interview you posted the other day? they also asked about this and they said “she WENT through an Ayn Rand phase”, like speaking about her past.
I think she backpedaling a lot in the interview about this topic. She said things like when somebody is young need “models” to follow, then you grow up, you learn and you added experience and go adding also others beliefs, etc, etc. In other words “I changed my opinion” AHAHAHA!
Anyway i think it would be impossible for her to be with Johnny if she were a Ayn Rand’s extremist.
And i understand that all those beliefs come with her after her best friend died in a car accident, so even if I believe she say many thing just to look more cool and rebel than what she really is. In this topic, because the tragic nature of the experience that put her in this philosophy when she was young, I’m going to give her a pass…

We all have the right to change our opinions, isn’t it?

There’s a difference between race and culture; that is, between genetics and ideas. Genetics are not the result of anyone’s choice, and have no moral significance. Ideas are the result of human choices and can be right or wrong, good or bad.

The recognition of human rights is an idea, and the Western recognition of human rights is superior to the absence of that recognition in primitive cultures.

For Ayn Rand’s view of real racism, see here: Ayn Rand on Racism.

Amber heard and ayn rand. In the Malibu magazine article, she refers to herself, as a quote, an objectivist. Which is an ayn rand follower, in her ideals. The article mentions 3-4 times how randian amber is. The quote from amber was that she kept adding more and more to her philosophical belief systems, but nowhere does it mention that she has dropped any of her previous beliefs. As a matter of fact, because she called herself an objectivist in the article, I would say she is still a huge rand fan, also her quote on women working in Hollywood, goes along with rands views on why women shouldn’t strive to be homemakers. It is so the “me” movement, and amber herself wants to be a part of that. Even ayn rand couldn’t keep her views to one side of any topic. She loved and hated gays, she was backed largely by the Republican Party for a while, but she disagreed with them quite a bit. She thought gays should be allowed to do whatever they wanted, that laws should be repealed, but she detested the ones that got out and lobbied for rights (remember when amber did this over the Kmart thing?)

Ayn rand would also largely use circular reasoning, which only serves to leave the reader more confused than they were before

OMG sword of Apollo, you have got to be kidding me, right? You are going to attempt to use randian thought to dissuade and detract from the main point and purpose of this post? It is racist, bigoted, and idiotic to think that just because the European settlers landed here that they were entitled to this land, um no. All one has to do is read her quote to know that her beliefs on that topic (and any other topics you read her quotes on) are wrong, moralistcally, philosophically,,personally, and most of the civilized, well read and educated people can tell the difference between her good points (hard core economic personal fiscal policy LOL) and her stupidity inducing drivel….anything else she wrote about. You are attempting to use circular type reasoning, but it doesn’t matter, rand said what she did about the native Americans and amber heard agrees with her. Johnny shouldn’t be around her, I’m surprised Disney hasn’t shut down their little affair yet. Could be very bad for business..
